Salvatore Provvidenza from the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) joined the CCNS to provide an in-depth look at the IESO Pathways to Decarbonization report. Experts Julia McNally and James Yue from the IESO supported Salvatore during the Q&A.
Salvatore Provvidenza holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management. He has worked for the Ontario Power Authority/Independent Electricity System Operator for the past 12 years in both Power System Planning and Contract Management. In his current role as Manager, Reporting and Economic Analysis within Resource Planning, he oversees a team responsible for many modeling assumptions and the synthesis of results, including the Pathways to Decarbonization Study.
